Sertu (Cleanse and Purify) is a process of cleansing and purifying
from Najis Mughallazah (severe feces) when in contact with dogs,
pigs (swine) and its descendant when it is wet or when in contact
with their saliva.
The process entails 6 washes of Mutlak water (absolute water) and
1 wash of Mutlak Water (absolute water) mixed with soil/clay. The
total number of washes has to be 7 times.
